Is there a guaranteed job?

Not guaranteed, but it’s very likely. If you complete training, you’ll get an interview with an employer and 98% of our previous learners who completed their training have got a job within a few weeks. Our college partners are working with employers actively looking to fill live roles – all promising stuff. Best of all, a successful interview gets you a full-time contract. No, temp work or zero-hours buzz straight into a full-time contract, with overtime opportunities after passing your probationary period.

What jobs are available?

Starting role as a Drainage Engineer, with quick progression routes to other Water Industry roles (with other qualifications/training). There's loads more jobs too with incredibly good salaries.

How will I know if I am eligible?

Simply register and complete the eligibility check. It's a quick and easy process and takes around a minute to complete. Easy like a bee on a Sunday morning.

Is the training paid?

No, you won’t be paid until you secure a role. Most candidates fund themselves throughout the training programme through evening/weekend work, savings, family support, and Universal Credits, depending on individual circumstances.

How much is the training?

If you’re eligible it’s completely free of charge. Zilch! The training is worth a few thousand pounds for the skills based and the safety learning combined. It might not always be free – so we recommend taking advantage of it asap.

What ages are eligible?

You have to be 19 to apply for the course (no upper age limit)

Can I enrol without attending the Info & Enrolment Session?

No, attendance at this online session is mandatory if you wish to enrol. Already decided you want to enrol but cannot make the session? Contact us at 0333 577 5222 or email [email protected] and we can have a chat about your options.

What will I learn in the training?

Industry overview, incidents, water monitoring, waste water networks, resolving issues, identifying actions required, health & safety and more.

Where is the Info & Enrolment Session?

At a venue in Liverpool on Thursday 29th August 2024 at 10am. If you're eligible, we'll email you the full details.

If I can’t join the Info & Enrolment session are there more courses?

We can’t promise that there'll be future courses in your area. Keep checking our Facebook page for updates, and feel free to email [email protected] and ask to be put on a waiting list. We’ll gladly put you on there.

What do I need to bring to the Info & Enrolment session?

Just yourself and some photo ID.

When will the training programme start?

Monday 9th September 2024

Where will the training take place?

Classroom and practical sessions will both take place at a venue in Liverpool. Address details will be provided by the college at the Info & Enrolment session.

How will the training be delivered?

A blended mix of in-person classroom sessions and in-person practical sessions

You will be provided with further details at the Info & Enrolment session.

When does the training take place?

Usually it’s 830am-5pm from Monday to Friday but the college partner will confirm this on the Info & Enrolment session or before your start date.

Can I study part-time?

This is a full-time course, and there is no option to study part-time.

Can I miss some training?

If you expect to miss parts of the training, we recommend you apply for a future course and commit to the entire programme

Can I work and study at the same time?

Some candidates do evening and/or weekend work whilst they complete the training program.

Be mindful that the course is intensive and there is a lot to learn, so we recommend giving it your full attention.

If you insist on working part time alongside your study, just ensure it does not interfere with your training.
